Charity Walk/Run

A fun and inclusive event bringing people together to support different causes. Participants will register to walk a set distance, and are encouraged to raise funds through sponsorships or donations. The event is open to all ages and fitness levels, making it ideal for families, friends and individuals. This event will foster community involvement, increase visibility for our organization and many causes, and raise significant funds through entry fees, sponsorships and individual donations.
WHAT'S NEEDED: registration tables, signage, water stations, portable toilets, first aid kits, participant bibs, event t-shirts, snacks, tents (for shade), cones or barriers for the route, donation collection materials, a sound system, and depending on the location, permits or necessary paperwork for the event.
Food Drives
Cost: $100 - $500

Spring/Summer/Fall/Winter
A charitable initiative aimed at collecting non-perishable food items to support individuals and families facing food insecurity. Community members are encouraged to donate canned goods, dry foods, and other shelf-stable items, which will be distributed to local food banks, shelters, or other organizations. This event will highlight the issue of food insecurity in the community, foster collaboration among residents, businesses and organizations, and deliver food to those who need it most.

Clothing Drives
Cost: $100 - $500

A community-focused event that gathers gently used or new clothing items for individuals and families in need. The donated items are distributed to shelters, charitable organizations or directly to those experiencing hardship. Ensure individuals and families have access to essential clothing, highlight the importance of donating and reducing waste, and promote recycling and reuse of clothing instead of discarding them.

Community Talent Show

WHAT'S NEEDED: venue rental, microphones, sound system with speakers, lighting fixtures, stage setup, chairs, tables, backdrop, registration forms, judging scorecards, prizes, promotional materials, a timer, backstage area setup and potentially a video projector for visual elements.
Trivia Night

A fun and interactive event where participants test their knowledge across a variety of topics in a friendly competition. Teams or individuals answer questions in categories like history, pop culture, sports and science to earn points, with prizes awarded to the top scorers. WHAT'S NEEDED: venue rental, trivia questions (written or digital), answer sheets for teams, pens, clipboards, a microphone for the host, a timer, a projector and screen (if needed), tables and chairs for teams, a registration table, a judge's table, prizes for winners, and any necessary audio/visual equipment to display questions and scores clearly.
Casino & boardgame Night

An event to collect essential school supplies to educators to ensure every child has the tools they need to succeed in the classroom. Together, we can ensure that every student has the chance to continue their education throughout the school year. Your generosity will help to equip the next generation with the resources they need to reach their full potential.
WHAT'S NEEDED: For this event, we will set up separate donation tickets for teachers who opt-in to receive assistance from us. We will provide their name, school and grade. Donors have the opportunity to enter the amount they wish to donate.
